November 3 - Halloween Bliss

Halloween 2025! We started off the day with a 3rd grade field trip to The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. I chaperoned this field trip with Luke's 3rd grade class 6 years ago and it wasn't great. The docent has complete control over what you see and while other groups saw cool art and unique hallways, we spent the entire fieldtrip in one room looking at pottery. This time around, our docent was incredible! She encouraged the kids to ask questions, we went down two of the cool hallways and saw some cool works of art. The kids and parents in our group all had a great time!

After the field trip, we relaxed at home for a little while and then it was Halloween time. Leeya came over with Cooper, her new goldendoodle puppy. The girls had pizza and then we headed out. We've lived here for almost 16 years and this was hands down the best Halloween weather ever. It was a nice, cool night with zero humidity. There were TONS of kids out in our neighborhood and the girls lasted for almost 2 solid hours.

What did the big kids do for Halloween? Julia went to a party at a friend's house while Luke and JD stayed home handing out candy. Hope everyone had a great Halloween night!
