August 14 - Can We Make Another Bracelet?

The great thing about taking 3 days to drive to NC is that we got in Sunday afternoon around 4pm (instead of getting in super late). The kids had plenty of time to play and eat before heading to bed. Julia, Victoria and Andrew attempted a sleep over in Victoria's room almost every night but Andrew was too chatty so the girls banished him. Luke attempted to sleep in Victoria's room one night with the other kids as well but in his own words "Mom, I want to talk to them and they said they want to sleep." So, he was in our room the whole trip! The girls were great together and shared an air mattress, it was really cute.

We did a ton of fun things during the week (I'll do a blog post for each big activity) but we also had fun around the house. I brought our rainbow loom kit and the girls (especially Victoria) loved making bracelets, necklaces and rings. We painted nails, played on the playset and hammock in the backyard and played MarioKart. The kids also played a favorite game of Victoria and Andrew's called Go It where the kids run down the hallway, bounce on a crib mattress and then do a flip onto the bed. They played this game for several hours. The girls also played a lot of go fish, we baked brownies at one point and went swimming in their neighborhood pool. They all also had fun with the train set. Fun fun fun!

See Greg's face? Apparently that is his 'smelling something good' face. None of us guessed it (WiiU game) but we all had a good laugh over it.
